I didn't even make it a week...

I couldn't do it! I could not go an entire week without a car... I really did try, but a car is a wonderful thing.  It's totally different talking a leisurely walk when YOU want to, but it is not fun when you HAVE to walk several miles a day to get to your job.   I was getting up an extra hour earlier in the morning, treating 6-7 youngsters, and logging in about 4-5 miles of walking a day! I was actually paying more money to ride the DC metro to work than the amount it takes to fill up my car for the week... so thanks to a very generous friend, I can drive to work again!  Thanks a million D.
