We are fully embracing Melbourne's food and drink scene. After my waitress "trial" on Saturday, I came home with $30 burning a hole in my pocket. I felt it perfectly appropriate to celebrate and use my cash for a night out.

Loads of liquor! A local gave us a tip to see this secret spot. In true Melbourne style, it was located down a cobblestone laneway. From the outside, you would never know a lively bar is serving up old fashioned drinks behind the unmarked brown door. Don't worry, there is no secret password or handshake. If you find it, you are in.

Next, it was time to ring in 2013! Us 3 American ladies got dolled up for a night out at our favorite local bar - Beer Deluxe in Hawthorn. Live music, dancing, and great company made for a memorable and fun NYE!
