Saturday was Community
Day at Flemington Racecourse, home of the world famous Melbourne Cup. Although it was a more quiet day at the races, I was hooked as soon as I arrived. The grounds were beautiful and overflowing with roses. The ladies were donning their hats and fascinators, and everyone was enjoying the excitement of the races. If you make it to Melbourne in November, I would say the Melbourne Cup is a must-see.
